In een nauwe samenwerking met de conservatoren van het Rijksmuseum is een levende legenda gemaakt voor de Neptunus. Met twintig scenes in de verschillende ruimtes in het schip wordt het voor de bezoeker meteen duidelijk hoe het schip in 1835 gebruikt werd.
The Neptunus is a half model of a liner of the Dutch Royal Navy. In this exceptionally detailed model that shows both the exterior and interior of the ship we show the daily life on board of this ship in 1835. For this project we developed the old Pepper’s ghost technique with an entirely new variant that made it possible to tell this stories inside this model with the most respect for this beautiful piece of Marine collection and for the new Marine Models Room. The model can simply be exhibited without concessions while still an additional informational layer can be added.
